ARMED police officers arrested a 19-year-old man on suspicion of rape in Redditch.
West Mercia Police officers were alerted to a vehicle travelling on the A435 at Beckett’s Farm at 5.15pm yesterday (June 2).
The vehicle was wanted by colleagues from West Midlands Police.
Firearms officers stopped the vehicle on the A4023 Coventry Highway and one man was arrested on suspicion of rape and taken into custody.
The man has now been bailed pending further enquiries.
