AN elderly man and woman were rushed to hospital after they were trapped in a car which crashed into a tree.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the junction of Atherstone Close and Millhill Road in Redditch just after 10am this morning (June 2).
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service sent two crews to the crash and found the two elderly passengers had managed to escape the car.
Nearby Claybrook Drive was closed by police following the crash.
The elderly passengers were treated for injuries not believed to be life-threatening and were taken to Alexandra Hospital.
