A MAN was arrested on suspicion of driving offences after a car mounted a kerb, knocking down several pedestrians in Redditch last night.
Five people were injured - three seriously - in the incident which happened last night (Friday May 14) in Summer Street.
The three most seriously hurt were taken to hospital where they continue to be treated but police have now confirmed their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening at this time.

West Mercia Police say the pedestrians were hit by a black Peugeot Rapier which mounted the kerb at around 10pm.
The driver, a man in his 20s from Redditch, was detained by members of the public at the scene and was arrested by officers on suspicion of dangerous driving and drink driving.
He remained in police custody this morning (Saturday).
The road was closed for several hours while investigations were carried out at the scene but it has since re-opened fully.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses and anyone with dash-cam footage of the incident to contact them via the reporting page on the West Mercia Police website or by calling 101 and quoting incident number 792i of May 14, 2021.
