FOUR new independent businesses are now open at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre as well as a temporary indoor market.

The new stores are Maya Gifts, Country Master Barbers, Top Box studios and art is ar’t.

The centre has also recently become the temporary accommodation for local valued independent traders.

Located on Kingfisher Walk near Poundland, the indoor market includes a number of regular traders such as a fruit and vegetable stand, florist and mobile phone repairs.

Kingfisher guests can now also enjoy the convenience of having a barbers at the centre. Priding themselves in the finest work from old school cuts to modern day fades, Country Master Barbers is now open next to Subway for both appointments and walk-ins.

Maya Gifts is a fusion of three independent local businesses offering a wide variety of innovative items including handcrafted jewellery and ethically sourced clothing can now be found on the ground floor. Kingfisher has also welcomed art is ar’t, a new fine art gallery showcasing the works of both international and local artists.

Joining the new independents is Top Box Studios, a creative arts production company offering youth theatre workshops, private singing tuition, recording studio packages and much more. .
