THE Covid-19 rollout in Redditch has hit a significant milestone - with 60 per cent of adults now vaccinated.
The latest data from the NHS shows that 44,230 people in Redditch have received their first dose of the Covid-19 Vaccine.
In welcoming the latest data, Redditch MP Rachel Maclean said: “As Redditch has reached this significant milestone in the rollout of the Covid Vaccines, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the NHS and at Knights Pharmacy for their herculean efforts in getting these life-saving jabs into peoples’ arms.
“The Covid vaccines are safe, effective and we know they are already saving lives. please, when you’re called up to get vaccinated get the jab.
“These vaccines are the light at the end of the tunnel and our way out of this pandemic.”
