A POPULAR Redditch cocktail lounge and restaurant will be offering a brand new alfresco experience when it reopens later this month.

Guests at The Orangery in Ipsley will soon be able to enjoy Mediterranean flatbreads and tapas, cocktails, champagne punch bowls and fizz in greenhouses and even a teepee.

This is part of #ALFRESCOfest - a brand new outdoor offering of springtime food and drink. The Orangery, which recently featured in The Times’ 40 Best Places To Eat Outside will be reopening on Thursday, April 15.

The team at the venue, based in Ipsley, Redditch have gone to great lengths to ensure the safety of its customers and staff and are thrilled that bookings have been flooding in for tables of up to 6 guests.

The opening weekend and other popular dates are now completely sold out.

Victoria Colliandris, group operations manager at The Orangery said: “We have made some big changes to our venue over the last 12 months and we’re now ready to welcome our guests to ALFRESCOfest every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 15th April.

"We can’t wait to be serving some botanical gins and sharing cocktails to groups of family and friends who haven’t seen each other for such a long time. #ALFRESCOfest is something completely different to anything else in the area and we’ve worked hard to design some really exciting drinks and food to reflect the season and surroundings of The Orangery”.

All bookings need to be made online at the-orangery.com.
