REDDITCH is set to see all types of weather over the next 10 days, with forecasters suggesting a cold snap will follow a mini heatwave. 

The temperature set to rise to 20C in the coming days, before dropping into single figures by the bank holiday Monday.

The current forecast even predicts the possibility of snow at the start of next week.

Here is the forecast in Redditch for the week ahead...

Monday

Cloud is set to give way to sunshine throughout the day.

A top temperature of 15C can be expected.

Tuesday

The mini heatwave will be in full swing by Tuesday, with Redditch set to bask in a day of sunshine. 

Temperatures will rise up to around 20C by 4pm, with cloud returning by nighttime.

Wednesday

The warm weather is expected to last to the middle of the week at least, with another sunny afternoon forecast for Wednesday. 

Temperatures will peak at around 18C, but cloud is due to build up again later in the afternoon.

Thursday

Temperatures will only reach around 13C on Thursday, with cooler air arriving in Kidderminster.

Again, clouds will be broken up by sunny intervals in the afternoon and into the early evening.

The Met Office says we can expect temperatures to drop later to lows of 3C.

Friday and into next week

Friday will be a mixture of cloud and sunny intervals, although temperatures are expected to drop slightly, with highs of 10C and lows of 3C forecast.

It's set to be an overcast start to the weekend on Saturday, with a few sunny intervals after lunchtime. Top temperatures of 10C are expected.

Sunday will see a mixed bag of weather conditions, with highs of 12C and lows of 1C.

The cold snap is then expected to move in overnight, however, when rain and snow is forecast to make an appearance on Monday.

There is a chance of snow on Monday through to Wednesday in Redditch, with lows of 0C at the start of the week.
