- Vaccinations continue to progress as planned
- Vaccines continue to work effectively, particularly when it comes to bringing down the number of hospitalisations and deaths
- New infection rates do not risk a spike in hospital admissions

- Downing Street says those conditions are being met at the moment, meaning restrictions can start to be lifted from March 8 and include those currently set for March 29.
- WHAT WILL HAPPEN FROM MARCH 8?
- All schools will open and outdoor after-school sports and activities will be allowed.
- Up to two people from different households can meet up for recreation in a public space, such as a park, meaning they would be allowed to sit down for a coffee, drink or picnic.

- Outdoor gatherings of either six people or two households will be allowed, to include private gardens.
- Outdoor sports facilities will reopen and organised adult and children's sport, including team sports, will return

- Subject to progress, non-essential retail, hair and beauty, indoor gyms and holiday lets to return.
- Pubs and restaraunts to reopen OUTDOORS without curfew and no need for the sale of a substantial meal to serve alcohol.
- Zoos, theme parks and community centres to also open.
- WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON MAY 17?
- Subject to progress, the limit on people meeting up outdoors to be upped to 30.
- People will be able to see friends and family indoors.
