A TEENAGE girl and a man were taken to hospital after a crash involving an e-scooter in Redditch.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident in Birchfield Road on Tuesday, February 9.

An e-scooter and a pedestrian collided at around 5.15pm and ambulance and police attended.

A 29-year-old man and a 17-year-old girl were taken to hospital.

Investigating officers are appealing for information from the public including dash cam footage.

PC Hegenbarth, of West Mercia Police, said: “We are keen to speak with anyone who may have seen the incident on Birchfield Road at 5.15pm on February 9, or saw the e-scooter being driven prior to the collision in the surrounding area so that we can get a better understanding of what has occurred.

“We are especially keen to see any dash-cam footage from the area at the time of the incident. If you have any information please report on our website.”
