FOUR men who were arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance at Worcestershire hospitals have now been bailed.
The bail conditions state they are not to enter any hospital in England unless they have a medical reason to do so.
A 31 year-old from Bromsgrove, 34 year-old from Bromsgrove, 34 year-old from Droitwich and 37 year-old from Kidderminster were arrested after videos allegedly filmed at Kidderminster Hospital, the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch and Worcestershire Royal Hospital surfaced on social media.
The men featured in the videos appeared to deny the impact of coronavirus.
West Mercia Police have said the arrests related to several incidents across hospitals within Worcestershire, Birmingham, Bromsgrove town centre and a park in Bromsgrove.
They are said to have taken place between December 31 2020 and January 9 2021.
On Twitter, inspector Lee Page said the incidents "caused serious public concern during this national crisis."
