A PLANNING application to build new apartments at a former ambulance station site in Redditch has been lodged.
The proposal, made to Redditch Borough Council, would see derelict land at Cedar View, Batchley, transformed into nine two-bedroom apartments.
According to agents Highbury Design, the site has become a place of "anti-social behaviour, fly tipping and has generally become an eyesore."
A planning statement also highlights that the site "naturally generates an unsafe feeling of this area in general."
It reads: "This the former ambulance station itself has fallen in to a state of disrepair and itself has become an eyesore to the neighbouring flats and surrounding residents of Cedar View and Fir Tree Close."
