A REDDITCH man was handed a suspended prison sentence after blocking a woman in a car park whilst she was inside her vehicle.
Richard Quilkin, of Cropthorne Close, Woodrow North, also admitted emailing the woman, which he was banned from doing by a non-molestation order.
The 34-year-old defendant appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court via live link on Monday (November 23).
For each of the two charges he was given an 8-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, to run consecutively.
A restraining order was made barring Quilkin from directly or indirectly contacting the woman, unless permitted to do so through official channels.
He was also ordered to pay a total of £313, which includes a £128 victim surcharge and costs of £185.
The defendant’s guilty plea was taken into account when the sentence was imposed.
