A CAR was seized and a driver reported for motoring offences after being stopped by police in Lye last night (Sunday).
Lye Neighbourhood Team officers stopped a green Honda civic on Lye High Street, just after 8pm having been alerted to the vehicle by a local Facebook group.
The driver was reported for having no road tax or insurance and driving without a valid licence and the car was also seized by police.
Stourbridge PCSO Neal Hunt said the driver was also spoken to about fly-tipping after police became aware of concerns via social media posts.
But he urged members of the public to ensure they report incidents of fly-tipping and suspected motoring offences to the police by calling 101 or making contact online via Live Chat on the West Midlands Police force website.
