Where to get a real Christmas tree in Bolton

While you could pull the same old artificial tree from your attic, there is something special about buying a real tree- especially when you buy it from a local business in or near Bolton.

There are a variety of shapes, sizes and types to choose from to suit all of your personal preferences.

These Christmas trees are grown in over 300 acres of fields in the Scottish Highlands- and then sold on this farm in Bolton.

In terms of variety, there are plenty of trees to choose from, including the popular Premium Nordman Fir, the Norway Spruce and the Korean Fir.

With these trees, no apartment is too small as there are trees in a variety of sizes, from small potted trees right up to 16ft giants.

A representiative for the company said: "We believe we are the best Christmas tree farm in the North West as we always go the extra mile for our customers.

"We have a vast range of trees - nordman fir, fraser fir, lodgepole pine, korean fir, noble fir, norway spruce and pot grown trees from 3-4ft up to 40ft."

Alternatively, you can pick up your Christmas tree in person in order to get the full festive experience.

The farm opens this Saturday (28th November) all the way through until December 23.

However, government guidelines and social distancing measures will still be in operation.

The company recommend you measure your space before you buy the Christmas tree as the last thing you want is an oversized tree that won’t fit.

Paul Haley Christmas Tree is open from this Saturday (28 November) and social distancing measures will be in place.

While the company can’t give out free hot chocolate or mince pies, customers will be able to visit the famous ‘Christmas present bazaar’ and pick a free gift with every tree purchased.

Fraser Fir size from 150cm – 225cms
Norway spruce size from 250cm – 370cm

Scots pine size from 150cm – 225cm

All trees are netted free of charge and there is the option for trees to be delivered.

How to dispose of your Christmas Tree

Once the season’s merriment is over, it’s time to dispose of your Christmas tree.

However, instead of fly tipping there are plenty of ways to dispose of your tree.

You could chop it up and place it in your green bin.

You can also contact Bolton Council to come and collect your tree and recycle it.
