A DRIVER sustained injuries after a two-vehicle smash on the Alcester Highway in Redditch.

The crash happened this morning (Thursday, November 19), and an ambulance crew came across the incident at half past eight.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “A crew came across a two vehicle RTC on Alcester Highway, Redditch.

"The crew didn’t have a patient on board the ambulance at the time.

"They treated one patient, a woman, who was driving one of the vehicles, for minor injuries and she was discharged at the scene.”

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were also at the scene to make the vehicles safe.
