A KIDDERMINSTER teenager has had a hair raising experience and collected more than £350 for Macmillian Cancer Research.
Macey Page had her head shaved at home in Kidderminster and went live on Instagram and Facebook so her family and friends could watch.
She was inspired by her friend to do this challenge who also had her head shaved for the same charity.
Macey, aged 17, said: “I chose this charity as they provide a lot of vital help for cancer patients, from treatment to counselling.
“This experience will help me realise the things we take so much effort and pride in, such as hair, isn’t what is truly important. It is happiness, having that connection, love and trust is what is important in life.”
Macey is studying Level 3 Hospitality, Travel and Tourism at Halesowen College and is a former pupil of Wolverley High School.
