OFFICERS are appealing for dashcam footage of a crash near Bidford that resulted in a man's death yesterday.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "We are appealing for any information and any witnesses to come forward including any dashcam footage following a fatal road traffic collision on the A46 Evesham between Bidford and Twyford yesterday (Wednesday 3 November).

"At around 10.55am a grey Mazda, green Renault Clio and white Man artic lorry collided. The three vehicles were all travelling southbound on the A46 dual carriageway from the direction of Bidford to Twyford.

"Sadly one man in his 30s has died in the collision. His Next of Kin has been informed."

A woman also needed hospital treatment after the crash in Evesham.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “Sadly, nothing could be done to save the driver of one car, a man, and he was confirmed deceased on scene.

“The passenger of the second car, a woman, was given treatment on scene for injuries before being taken by land ambulance on blue lights to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further treatment.

"The driver from the same vehicle, a man, was assessed by ambulance staff but was uninjured and discharged on scene.”

Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham with a MERIT trauma doctor and critical care paramedic on board attended the scene.
