A sixty-year-old with a history of previous offences and a ‘flagrant disregard for court orders’ has been jailed for 14 weeks.

Kelvin James Henry, of Bank Street, Brierley Hill, admitted driving on Blowers Green while disqualified and without insurance.

He was banned for 18 months and ordered to pay £128 to the victim service.

A Stourbridge woman who assaulted a nurse has been put under curfew on an electronic tag.

Holly Elizabth Filipski, aged 30, of Caslon Street, admitted assaulting nurse Lisa Flemming in May.

She was placed on an 8pm to 7am curfew for eight weeks.

She also admitted threatening behaviour and was fined £100 and ordered to pay £150 compensation.

A woman who assaulted a police officer in Stourbridge has been sentenced to a community order and ordered to pay £150 in compensation.

Melissa Jayne Brown, aged 25, of Consort Crescent, Pennsnett, admitted assaulting PC Dimmock in Stourbridge in July.

A drug-driver involved in a high speed chase has been jailed for 14 weeks.

Christopher John Cooper had taken a Mercedes in the early hours of the morning and drove with cocaine and cannabis in his system

He admitted two counts of drug driving at Ashenhurst Road, taking a car without consent, driving without a licence or insurance, and being in possession of cocaine.

The 37-year-old from Buxton Road, Dudley, was banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay £122 into the victims fund.

A Stourbridge man who admitted careless driving and two counts of drug driving will have to pay £467 in fines and costs.

Liam David Jeavons, aged 26, of Warwick Road, had cannabis and cocaine in his system while driving on Maypole Fields.

He was disqualified for 12 months, fined £300 and ordered to pay £167 in costs.

A Dudley man has been given a suspended prison sentence for dangerous driving.

Magistrates sentenced Akhtar Ali to 26 weeks in prison, suspended for a year, because they said his driving was a risk to the public. The vechicle had mounted the kerb and he drove on the pavement.

The family man, who was said to face losing his job, was also ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid work.

Ali, aged 38, of Watsons Green Road, pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay £307 in costs and victim funds.

Andrew Paul Lloyd, aged 39, of The Broadway, Dudley, admitted drink driving at Withymoor Road. He had180 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 milliitres of blood when the limit is 100.

He was fined £250, ordered to pay £167 in costs, and banned from driving for 18 months.

A Sedgley man who admitted threatening behaviour towards a police officer has been given a conditional discharge for 12 months.

Richard Steven Lawley, aged 41, of The Ridgeway, was ordered to pay £107 in costs.

A 51-year-old Netherton man has been fined £100 for possessing cannabis.

Andrew Askins, of Northfield Road, pleaded guilty. He was ordered to pay £34 victim costs.

A Cradley Heath drink-driver who was nearly three times over the limit has been banned for two years.

Joanna Christine Bogulak, aged 56, of Highgate Street, admitted driving with 103 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.

She was put on a community order for a maximum of 25 day’s activity and ordered to pay £230 costs.

Grant Liam Houghton, aged 27, of Thorns Avenue, Brierley Hill, has been banned for 26 months after admitting drink-driving.

He had 103 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.

He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and pay £230 in costs.
