BANK bosses say the Stourbridge branch of Barclays will re-open on Monday after a deep clean after a positive case of Covid-19 was confirmed at the branch.
The High Street bank shut its doors to customers temporarily after a case of the virus was confirmed.
A spokesperson for Barclays said: “The health and safety of our colleagues and customers is of paramount importance. Where a positive Covid-19 case is confirmed in our branch, we take immediate action in line with government guidelines, including contact tracing and enhanced deep cleaning.
“The branch is currently being thoroughly cleaned and we expect to reopen on Monday. We apologise for any convenience caused to our customers.
“Customers can continue to access their banking 24/7 using online banking, telephone banking or the Barclays app. Everyday banking can also be carried out at the Post Office.”
