SEVEN unattended bonfires in Redditch woodlands were extinguished by firefighters last night (Tuesday, September 29).
Crews were sent out to reports of a fire in the open off Evesham Road just before 10pm.
They found bonfires unattended and put out the flames using a hose reel jet and water backpacks.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the incident is now closed.
The cause of the bonfires is unknown and there will be no investigation.
