POLICE have revealed further details about the death of a woman in Catshill - but are still treating the matter as 'unexplained'.
The Advertiser reported yesterday (Tuesday) that a woman had been found dead at a property on Byron Way during the morning.
Police have now told us that the woman was aged 31 and they are hoping a post-mortem examination tomorrow (Thursday) provides more clues as to how she died.
In the meantime, a police presence remains at the scene.
Detective Inspector Lisa Duncan said: βAt 9:15am on Tuesday 29 September, we were called to a house in Byron Way, Catshill.
"Officers who attended the house found that a 31 year old woman from Bromsgrove had sadly died.
"Our officers will remain at the scene while our enquiries and investigation continues.
"A post mortem will take place tomorrow and we are treating the death as unexplained at this time.β
