THREE people were arrested - one in Kidderminster and two in Hagley - after officers received reports of a gun being brandished by the occupant of a car.
Officers from West Mercia Police were alerted to Worcester Road in Kidderminster at about 4pm yesterday (Sunday September 27) to reports of a vehicle having collided with another - with witnesses having reported seeing one of the occupants of the car holding a firearm.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said armed officers located the car and followed it to Hagley where it was pulled over "without incident".
A man and a woman in their 30s, who had been travelling in the car, were arrested on suspicious of making threats to kill, affray and criminal damages charges and remain in custody and a third person.
Police also arrested a man in his 30s at an address in Kidderminster - on suspicion of making threats to kill, criminal damage and possession of firearms with intent.
No firearms were found in the car, however, or at the property in Kidderminster or on any of those arrested.
All three today remained in custody as enquiries continued.
