A GOVERNMENT Minister visited Redditch to hear about the council's regeneration plans for the town last week.
Robert Jenrick, secretary of state for housing, communities and local government, met with councillors and officials to receive an update on Redditch’s Towns Fund plans on Friday (September 11).
Deputy leader of Redditch Borough Council Mike Rouse said on Twitter: "We were grateful for the Secretary of State's time and we hope he found the visit useful.
"We're passionate about #UnlockRedditch and recharging our local economy, skills and life chances in the post-COVID age. Thank you again for coming."
Last year, the Redditch MP Rachel Maclean secured a deal worth up to £25 million for Redditch which will be used to give the town a much-needed boost.
