REDDITCH MP Rachel Maclean is urging residents to have their say on Active Travel by taking part in her online survey.
This follows the publication of the Government’s ambitious ‘Gear change: a bold vision for cycling and walking’ plan.
It sets out the vision of thousands of miles of new protected bike lanes, cycle training for everyone and bikes available on prescription.
Mrs Maclean said: “We’re talking about active travel more than ever before – and this is great as we look to build back greener here in Redditch and across the UK.
“It’s often said how well-built Redditch is for more bike lanes, so, working with local colleagues, we’re determined to be ambitious & improve cycling in our town, as well as all forms of active travel. We must embed the benefits of walking and cycling into how we live, work and get around – and we’re in a great position to do just that here in Redditch.
“I’d really appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to answer the questions. Your views will be really important in our work to boost active travel.”
