FARMERS are being encouraged to sign-up to a free programme offering business advice.
It is part of the The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme, being held by The Prince’s Countryside Fund.
The Farmer Network has been asked to facilitate two resilience programme groups in Cumbria - one based around Kendal and another around Alston.
The programme includes one-to-one business support and a series of six evening workshops, featuring speakers covering topics such as business planning, costings and succession.
Ruth Kendal, project manager for The Farmer Network, said: “This is a great opportunity for farmers looking to build the resilience of their businesses given the proposed changes to support payments and the impact of Covid-19."
