The chemicals that sparked a bomb squad call out to Upper Stratton were all legal, police have said.
The Royal Logistic Corps specialists were called to Pinnocks Place on Thursday evening after police officers on a drugs raid discovered a number of bottles containing unknown substances.
A Wiltshire Police spokeswoman said: “Due to initial concerns regarding these substances, Explosive Ordnance Disposal attended the scene as a precaution. EOD determined that the property was secure and no dangerous substances were identified.”
The chemicals are understood to be legal.
Two men, one in his 20s and the other in his 50s, were arrested on suspicion of importing class A drugs. They have been released under investigation.
At least two officers from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene.
The bomb squad left after 7pm.
