A BODY has been found by search crews at Stourport's "Blue Lagoon" quarry.
Crews searching for a missing 17-year-old boy, who was last seen in the water at Shavers End Quarry on Wednesday, have confirmed a body has been found.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "Following searches for a missing teenager at Shavers End Quarry in Dunley, near Stourport, we can confirm that sadly a body has been located."
Detective Inspector Justin Taylor added: “It’s with a heavy heart that we can confirm that a body has been found in our searches at the quarry.
"Whilst formal identification has not yet taken place we have updated the family and the coroner has been informed.”
Searches for the teenager began at the quarry after police were informed he was missing at around 4.45pm on Wednesday, August 12.
The boy has been named by national media organisations as Haider Ali from Birmingham.
