POLICE have thanked members of the public for sharing their appeal to help find a wanted man with links to Redditch.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal to find David Proctor.
"A 27-year-old man has been arrested and is in custody."
Police previously asked for the public's support in locating the man, who they believed could help a serious assault investigation.
A man in his 30s was injured during an attack and was taken to hospital on Monday, July 6 in Redditch.
