TEMPERATURES are set to soar tomorrow, reaching 29°C in Redditch, with parts of the UK becoming hotter than the Caribbean.

Here’s the weather forecast for the rest of the week in Worcestershire.

After a largely dry but cloudy start to today (Thursday, August 6), it will brighten up with some sunny spells at times.

Feeling warm in the sunshine with lighter winds than yesterday - maximum temperature of 24 °C.

Sunny spells during the evening will give way to a dry night with clear spells and the odd isolated mist patch - remaining warm overnight.

Friday will be dry and sunny and it will feel hot. A few clouds will bubble up through the afternoon, turning the sunshine hazy - maximum temperature 29 °C.

The Met Office said: “After an unsettled start to the week in places, it will turn drier and much warmer across many parts of the UK later this week, with hot conditions developing across southern areas.”

The following few days should stay largely dry with sunny spells though there could be a few showers on Sunday, feeling warm throughout and locally hot.
