A TEENAGER from Alcester has turned disaster into delight by producing a calendar of the summer floods and donating the profits to the Air Ambulance.
Becki Edwards, 18, originally took the photos because her grandmother is disabled and she couldn't get out to see the floods, but the idea soon snowballed as more and more people saw it.
"I wanted to do something a bit different so I turned the photos into a calendar.
"My nan's neighbours looked at it and said that they wanted one so I started to make them at home," she said.
When Becki realised that so many people were interested she decided to have them professionally done and charge for them, giving all the profit to the flood appeal.
That appeal closed so she thought she would give the cash to the Air Ambulance and have now raised £350.
Stratford District Councillor Susan Adams also bought some calendars to present to the judges of Alcester in Bloom when they visited the town.
