A NEW restaurant promising a taste of authentic Turkish cuisine has been officially opened on Unicorn Hill in Redditch.
Called Mezze it specialises in everything Turkish - serving shish kebab, Kofta, Lamb Pirzola, mixed grills and Mezze, a collection of small dishes that is either served as an appetizer course, or as the main meal.

However, it also offers a range of English foods, such as chicken salad and rice pudding.
The restaurant, owned by Josh Hayrettin who works alongside his cousin and chef Mehmet Ali Gevdetasan, used to be called the Unicorn Cafe which was also owned by Josh.
He said that he has always wanted to bring his home to Redditch, and share a taste of their beautiful food with locals.
A grand opening was held earlier this week and saw leader of Redditch Council Matt Dormer and Batchley and Brockhill councillor Nyear Nazir, officially cut the ribbon for the business.
