A CELEBRATION of Irish music, song and dance in Kidderminster is being staged to raise hundreds of pounds towards a third round of stem cell treatment for severely autistic twins Summer and Meadow Lockey.

The family of the five-year-olds have been thrilled by the improvements in the girls’ conditions since first undergoing pioneering treatment in Panama in October 2018.

The Irish Concert on Friday March 20 from 7pm until 11.30pm at St Ambrose Parish Hall, Leswell Street, is being organised by the twins’ Kidderminster family.

The treatment for the girls, who live in Grays, Essex, with mum Jade (nee Pina Maffei), originally from Kidderminster, and dad John, is around £16,000 each.

Tickets are £10 (adults) and £5 (children under 16) and are available from Charlie Villa on 07759 629938, of Sinead Maffei on 07980 846301.
