A CITY centre road has been closed after a man fell from the Grosvenor Shopping Centre, police have confirmed
At about 4.30pm today, officers were called to reports of concerns for the safety of a man outside the Grosvenor Shopping Centre, Chester.
Police and paramedics attended the scene and found that a man had fallen from the multi-storey car park.
As a result of the incident a temporary road closure was put in place on Newgate Street, but the road has now reopened.
An eye witness contacted the Standard to say they saw the North West Air Ambulance leaving the scene shortly before 6pm.
