Police thanked residents after a man wanted for assault was arrested
POLICE searching for a wanted man in Redditch have thanked people as a man has been arrested.
Steven Hayes was wanted for assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH) and recall to prison.
Earlier this week police, who said he was believed to be in the Redditch area, put out an appeal for help to find him.
Commenting on social media they said: "Thanks to everyone for sharing our wanted man appeal for 34-year-old Steven Hayes.
"A 34-year-old man has been arrested for assault occasioning ABH."
