POLICE are linking a number of break-ins, one involving a sledgehammer, with an incident in Bidford.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or information following three incidents in Stratford and Bidford.

At around 9pm on Monday night, January 20, three unknown males forced entry to a property on Congreve Close, Stratford.

They assaulted the victim with an unknown object before leaving the address.

Nothing was stolen.

Two of the males were dressed in black and one was wearing grey.

Between Sunday and Tuesday, January 21 a property was broken into on Scott Close, Bidford.

An untidy search was made and a bottle of alcohol was stolen.

At around 10am on Tuesday, January 21, unknown persons attempted to gain entry to a different property on Congreve Close using a sledge hammer.

They then left the area, potentially in a silver Saab.

Police are currently linking the incidents, and are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious behaviour in the area to come forward.
