TALENTED pupils have pulled together to win an impressive trophy in a global robotics competition.

Year sic students from St Andrew's CE Primary School took part in the FIRST LEGO League, a programme which engages children aged nine to 16 in research, problem solving, coding, and engineering through a series of challenges.

There were 10 students from the Warrington school who took part, using their best computing, teamwork and problem solving skills to build a robot.

The children came away with The Core Values trophy, impressing the judges with their sense of fun, teamwork, innovation, discovery and their ability to apply what they had learnt.
