CONFUSION was caused by a sign on a playground which was put up in error.

A sign was attached to the fence on the playground at Mirabelle Gardens in Pershore which incorrectly said the playground was only for the use of children who lived on the Taylor Wimpey development, when the playground is actually open to the general public.

The photo caused confusion online with residents unsure who had put up the sign.

A Taylor Wimpey spokesperson said: “Regrettably the original sign at the play area at Mirabelle Gardens was erected by Taylor Wimpey in error."

"We can confirm that the original incorrect sign has now been removed and replaced with the correct approved sign."

“We would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this oversight may have caused and we can advise that going forward, Trinity Estates will be managing the play area at Mirabelle Gardens in Pershore.”
