A 16-year-old girl who is missing from home has connections throughout East Lancashire, police have said.
Officers are growing concerned for the welfare of Ellie Taylor, who is missing from the Blackburn area.
She was last seen at 6.18pm on Thursday December 5 and there was a possible sighting of the teenager on Shadsworth Road, Blackburn at around 7.30pm.
Ellie is 5ft 6in, with very short mousey brown hair.
She was wearing a grey Parka coat with fur around the hood, grey and white striped t-shirt, dark coloured camouflage jogging bottoms and black sliders with white socks on.
A police spokesperson said: "We are asking for anyone who knows Ellie to get in touch with information of her whereabouts or urge her to get in touch with us herself.
"Please could anyone with any information or possible sightings please contact Lancashire Police via 101 (or 999 if serious risk to life/of injury) quoting log number 1325 of December 5. Thank you."
