So the Duchy and the Environmental Agency have switched off the computers and are applying common sense, logic and working with Mother Nature to resolve a problem which a lot of people have been asking about - ‘surely building the monstrosity called Poundbury using so much tarmac and concrete is going to upset the fragile balance of flood plains in the Frome Valley surrounding our town’.

It’s going to be interesting at the meeting to hear their solution.

Please not computer forecasts.

Of course this begs the question regarding the proposal to build 3,500 homes actually on the flood plain.

Surely a bigger problem in the making.
