TICKETS have been officially released for a festival dedicated to Redditch's most famous son - Led Zeppelin legend John Bonham.

Organisers of John Bonham A Celebration have said the festival will return in 2020 on September 25 to 26.

Posting the news on Facebook they added it will have "a brand new concept" and lots of amazing acts.

The first festival took place in 2018.

This year's festival, which was supposed to take place in September, was cancelled.

Earlier this year organisers admitted they would not be able to deliver it to a standard that would do justice to the legend.

Organisers had hoped to build on the success of the first town centre festival, timed to coincide with the unveiling of the John Bonham memorial statue and which helped raise more than £23,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

However, it did not go ahead.

The decision to cancel was taken after consultation with John Bonham's sister Debbie.
