A REDDITCH charity described as a 'local success story' has received a royal visit.
HRH The Duke of Kent visited Midland Group Training Services centre, based in Arrow Road, earlier today.
The Duke and his entourage were joined by new mayor of Redditch Mike Chalk as well as the High Sherriff of Worcestershire, The Chair of Worcestershire County Council, and other dignitaries.
He watched a short presentation on the history of the employer-led and membership-based firm, which offers education, training, development and assessment, for both young people and adults in engineering.
HRH then had a tour of the premises taking time to chat to a number of apprentices.
David Bridgens CEO of Midland Group Training Services, said it was honour to have The Duke of Kent come and see what they do.
The visit was part of whistle-stop tour of the area The Duke was doing.
