ASDA'S Liscard branch has been given a £2.8m makeover.
Local shoppers can now enjoy a newly extended food-to-go range, allowing them to pick up hot food such as steak bakes, sausage rolls, pies and spicy vegan slices.
The store is also one of the first in the country to receive a hot chicken counter offering customers the chance to grab peri-peri and southern fried style-chicken all ready to eat.
Favourites such as the rotisseries and 'Create Your Own Pizza' counters are still available in store but have both received a fresh new look.
Elsewhere, the store's popular George clothing department has now got digital screens where shoppers can view the latest styles and must-have trends.
General store manager at Asda Liscard, Gary Bruce said: “We’re pleased customers can now see the results of all the hard work which has been taking place behind the scenes at Asda Liscard.
“We’re really excited to introduce new features we know our customers will love, such as the new hot pie and chicken counters, as well as a larger Food to Go area.
“We’d like to thank our customers for their patience throughout the disruption and hope they enjoy shopping in our new-look store.”
