THOUSANDS of people turned up to see Redditch Borough Council’s free Fireworks and Music Spectacular.
The event, held last night, had the theme ‘to the moon and back’ which had fireworks and music to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.
Hosted by Elliott Webb from BBC Hereford and Worcester, there was live music from Abba Bellas and Save the Date, as well as a fun fair, activities, and food and drink stands.
Rachel Maclean, said it was a brilliant night.
"It just kept getting better and better - the end was amazing," she said.
However, not everyone enjoyed the night with a number of young children stuck on a ferris wheel for more than 20 minutes - because the emergency stop button wouldn't work
Hundreds of parents have taken to social media expressing disbelief saying it was lucky no one was killed or injured.
