He now faces a jail-term after pleading guilty to two charges of housebreaking at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The hearing was told Cameron first targeted a couple's home in the city's Newlands area.
He helped steal a Volkswagen Golf and a Ford Fiesta from the property during the night-time raid, as well as cash, an iPad and a Nintendo Switch games console.
Prosecutor Lucy Adams said: "The Ford was later found parked outside a nearby house."
"The Golf was found in Barlanark after it had collided with a lamppost.
"Witnesses had seen Cameron abandon the car."
Miss Adams said Cameron also stole a Hyundai Tuscon along with keys and a wallet from a house in the city's Baillieston.
The fiscal added: "The home owner also realised his replica samurai sword was missing."
The Hyundai was later traced and a DNA check made to help catch the thief.
