The news that IRN-BRU would be relaunching it's original 1901 recipe has taken Scotland by storm.
Thousands of people have taken to social media to express their joy after A.G. Barr announced the limited edition IRN-BRU 1901.
The drink is to hit the shelves in December using an "old and unimproved" recipe deep from company archives, first created back when the drink was born in 1901.

And here at the Evening Times we were lucky enough to get our hands on an early sample bottle - so we put it to the test.
Unaware of which was which, we compared pre-sugar tax IRN-Bru, the current reduced sugar IRN-BRU that is currently on our shelves, and the new IRN-BRU 1901.
It goes without saying the results were pretty conclusive. Take a watch and find out how we got on.
IRN-BRU 1901 will be sold in 75cl glass bottles in shops across Scotland from 2 December 2019 and is expected to retail at around £2 per bottle.
