LAST Saturday night was Ceilidh Night at Bartestree Village Hall organised by the local network of Crohn’s and Colitis UK.

The band, Life of Riley from the Forest of Dean, provided a fabulous balance of great tunes and fun dancing for all.

Penny, the caller, had a knack for getting everyone in the room up on the floor and really enjoying themselves with a great sense of humour and clear instructions.

Over 70 tickets were sold and people came from a wide area to support the event.

In addition, the Co-Op Hereford Community grant very kindly donated the food to provide everyone with a ploughman’s supper; and coleslaw was donated by Cameron and Swan, Ledbury.

The Herefordshire team of Crohn's and Colitis UK want to extend a really 'big thanks' to these sponsors, and everyone who came along and supported the event, enabling the charity to raise over £400, which will be donated to research into better treatments and maybe even a cure for IBD.
