A WORCESTERSHIRE animal rescue charity has issued a plea for help in homing a dog with hearing issues.

Brian is a good natured two-year-old Old English Bulldog cross who is in the care of RSPCA Worcester & Mid-Worcestershire Branch through no fault of his own.

He is described as a very special boy who is looking for a special home as he is hard of hearing.

Geraldine Haynes, branch trustee, said: “Brian is intelligent, friendly and affectionate. He loves company and would be really happy in a home where someone is around a good part of the day.

“Brian is a youngster, so is lively, enjoys his walks and needs an active new owner. Give him your time and patience and he’ll make a great companion and pet.

“He is hoping to have a home to call his own very soon, as he’s getting rather stressed in kennels.”

Brian is in good condition, housetrained, neutered, chipped, vet checked and vaccinated.

He will be rehomed with four weeks’ free pet insurance.

Please call Geraldine on 01886 822083 for more details about Brian or other dogs.

The branch’s firewalk event went very well on Saturday evening and the weather was good.

Mrs Haynes said: “Lots of people came and everyone seemed to enjoy it. We don’t know how much we’ve raised yet as some sponsorship money is still to come in.”
