AERIAL dancers, stilt walkers and music will liven up a village's playing field over the bank holiday weekend as part of a heritage project.
Whitbourne, near Bromyard, is where the first work of science fiction in the English language was created by the Bishop of Hereford, Francis Godwin, who lived in the village in the 1600s.
Everybody Dance, a charity based in the village which brings people together through dance-based projects, have taken Godwin’s tale ‘The Man in the Moone’ as the basis for a large-scale community project.
Locals who would like to learn aerial skills, stilt walking or even help backstage, are being urged to get involved with the performance.
