THIS year's Morton Stanley Festival will be the most diverse yet with the return of the food festival.

The festival will feature new mini food stalls providing a wide variety of different foods sych as Desi Grill, who offer a range of Indian BBQ and grilled food, such as tandoori chicken burgers, Masala Chips and various vegetarian options, as well as Famous Spyros - eat fresh, Greek, authentic and healthy delicacies including Greek Souvlaki and the famous flame grilled Juicy Gourmet Burger for a Mediterranean feast.

Visitors can take a trip around the world from India to Italy with stalls offering tasters and full dishes, as well as more traditional British foods and coffee stalls.

Cllr Mike Rouse, whose portfolio covers leisure services, said: “Redditch is proud of our multicultural community so it is very fitting that our festival’s food offering reflects this, with a range of choices to suit all appetites with strong healthy choices too.”

The food festival will run in the main field at the same time as the music festival on Saturday, August 17 between noon and 10pm, and Sunday, August 18 between noon and 7pm.
