TWO men sustained several injuries after a violent gang attack in Studley.

One of the men received injuries to his back which was reported at the time as 'slash wounds'.

Both needed medical treatment after the attack, on High Street on Saturday morning.

A police spokesman said the offenders were a group of men that came from the Pool Road park area.

Police attended and the scene was secured.

The spokesman added this was an ongoing incident.

It happened around 12.20am on Saturday, June 29.
